Mazda investerar i AI-startup

Secondmind är namnet på en startup som pysslar med AI. I en ny investeringsrunda om 16 miljoner dollar är bland annat Mazda med. Biltillverkarens plan är att Secondminds teknik ska snabba på designen och utvecklingen av framtida elbilar. Detta brukar vanligtvis ta år men ska nu kortas ner till månader istället.Naohito Saga som är Executive Officer för R&D-strategin hos Mazda säger följande:"The automotive industry needs to further accelerate the speed and efficiency of development due to the diversification of market needs and the increasing sophistication and complexity of technology, and we hope that our partnership with Secondmind will bring out-of-the-box thinking and innovative technology to Mazda.
