Det blir antagligen bara en Game of Thrones-spinoff

Det har det senaste året ryktats om att det skulle vara hela fem stycken spinoffer på gång till HBO:s fantasyserie Game of Thrones men nu ser det ut som om det bara blir en. Det var HBO:s ordförande Casey Bloys som under en presentation på Television Critics Association avslöjade att kanalen för tillfället bara planerar en spinoff på Game of Thrones. Det ska handla om den spinoffen som HBO tidigare i år beställde ett pilotavsnitt till. Att det bara blev en spinoff och inte fem förklarar Bloys så här:
"The reason we did multiple scripts, in the development process, [we knew] out of five we’d be lucky to get one we’re excited about.
There are others that are good, there are others that are not going forward. But I don’t want to get into that individually, other than to say that we’re excited about the pilot we’re shooting and we’re just looking for a director now, we’re just casting. I don’t imagine there will be any more activity on the prequels until we see how this goes. I’m not holding one back and we’re going to make an announcement any time soon."
Den än så länge namnlösa GoT-spinoffen kommer att utspela sig tusentals år innan gänget i Game of Thrones började kriga om järntronen.
