Fler artister vill lämna Spotify

Efter det att tvisten mellan Spotify och Neil Young meddelar nu fler artister att de inte längre vill ha sin musik på Spotifys plattform. Bland annat Neil Youngs gamla bandkamrater i Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young säger att de inte längre vill vara kvar på Spotify. I ett uttalande säger Graham Nash om sitt beslut:"There is a difference between being open to varying viewpoints on a matter and knowingly spreading false information which some 270 medical professionals have derided as not only false but dangerous. Likewise, there is a difference between misinformation, in which one is unaware that what is being said is false, versus disinformation which is knowingly false and intended to mislead and sway public opinion. The opinions publicized by Rogan are so dishonest and unsupported by solid facts that Spotify becomes an enabler in a way that costs people their lives."Paste Magazine rapporterar att även artister som India Arie, Nils Lofgren och Failure har uppgett att de inte längre vill vara kvar på Spotify. Anledningen till att Young och de andra artisterna inte längre vill vara kvar på Spotify är för att Joe Rogan tillåts sprida kontroversiella åsikter om covid-19 och annat via sin podcast på Spotifys plattform.
