Rykte Franska terroristerna kommunicerade via Playstation 4?
Svårt att övervaka chattar på spelkonsoler
Amerikanska Forbes skriver att de ansvariga bakom fredagens terrorattacker i Paris kan ha kunnat användas sig av Sonys spelkonsol Playstation 4 för att kommunicera. I husrannsakningarna som skedde efter attackerna ska minst en Playstation 4 blivit beslagtagen och enligt belgiska myndigheter använder terroristerna PS4 då det är mycket svårt att övervaka kommunikation på den, till och med svårare än WhatsApp enligt den belgiske ministern Jan Jambon.Sony har kommenterat de här uppgifterna och säger i ett uttalande till Eurogamer:
"PlayStation 4 allows for communication amongst friends and fellow gamers and, in common with all modern connected devices, this has the potential to be abused. However, we take our responsibilities to protect our users extremely seriously and we urge our users and partners to report activities that may be offensive, suspicious or illegal. When we identify or are notified of such conduct, we are committed to taking appropriate actions in conjunction with the appropriate authorities and will continue to do so."Tidigare i år greps en tonårig IS-sympatisör i Österrike efter det att han hade laddat ner instruktioner för att tillverka en bomb till sitt Playstation 4.
